Foods That Promote weight Loss

“Vegetables fight heart diseases and obesity”
    Healthy fats that help burn fat, healthy proteins that torch fats, fiber that aids in fat loss...at some point there are actual foods that aid in achieving a lean body, by just adding them to your diets and/ snacks you could be doing yourself a very big favour.
   Fact is, a change to your lifestyle is more than enough to help achieve the body of your dreams, be it building lean muscle mass or slimming down.

  Exercising is a very crucial factor to be considered when trying to lose weight not just because of the very “obvious” but because it boosts your health and overall wellness. While that's something most people know, they often neglect the fact that exercises are only as good as YOUR DIETS if you really want to notice results and not be stuck at a plateau .

1) Beans and legumes
   Some people might argue that legumes contain more calories than normal proteins, I believe they're great because they build muscle, help burn fat and most importantly regulate digestion. Some researchers even believe they help fight obesity and high blood pressure.
 


2) Spinach And Other Green Vegetables
   We've all heard the "...eat your vegetables..." ......... at one point or the other and for a good reason. Veggies Neutralize free radicals, molecules that accelerate the aging process, fight cancer, heart disease, stroke, obesity and osteoporosis

3) Eggs
   It's  only natural for eggs to be on this list ,in fact being on the list is their birthright, lol.
  Eggs help build muscle, burn fat, fight Obesity ( it goes on and on; I mean why not , they're one of the best naturally occurring protein foods).

4) Olive Oil
    I grew up being told that Olive oil was in a class of it's own. I tried using it to cook once and it ended pretty bad, my body reacted to it in a very bad way. It was probably because I was using it for the very first time.
   Olive oil lowers cholesterol ( which is important in fat loss), boosts immune system fight obesity (which in turn protects you from fat related heart diseases), cancer and high blood pressure

5) Blueberries, Raspberries, And Other Berries
    Berries help protect the heart; enhance eyesight; improve balance, coordination, and short-term memory.
   The best part and the part related to this post is they (berries) prevent cravings ( I've had problems with food cravings and I can relate to how easily they make you add weight ). They also fight heart diseases, cancer and obesity.

6) Fish
    Another day, another study about the benefits of eating fish—and for good reason. We know from animal studies that your diet shouldn't be deficient in omega-3s.
   A diet rich in omega-3s, on one hand, can boost heart health and lower your risk of dementia. For weight loss, many omega-3 carriers are rich in protein. And study after study confirms: Protein makes you feel full. You even burn more calories digesting protein than you do when you eat fats or carbs.

7) Green Tea
     I know you've probably heard or seen this a couple million times and for a good reason too.
Green Tea is a beverage thats filled with powerful antioxidants ( like coffee...). It helps boost metabolism, fight inflammation, burn fat and increase overall energy levels.

Green tea is well known all around the globe for it's fat burning effects; the more reason it has to be on our list (shoulda made it nō1 !)
    According to a study, drinking 5 cups a day could pretty much help you burn twice as much weight in your midsection (...remember "and for a good reason"...)

   To get the best out of this beverage, squeeze a slice of lemon or orange into your tea before you drink it (Research found that citrus juice gives green tea's antioxidants staying power, so they're digested slowly and benefit your body for longer)
     These foods listed above should find a place in your diets if you're really serious about losing weight and/ gaining lean muscle mass. You can also try supplements which have been proven to  boost fat burning hormones and also boost muscle building.

  Remember, losing fat is also a journey and should be treated as such, don't expect to lose a ton of weight in very little time. Set realistic goals and you'll be as lean as Helmut Strebl in no time.
